Turn off at Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south. Follow directions to campus from Route 18 North, below.

From Garden State Parkway Northbound - Coming from southern New Jersey:
Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North. After approximately 24 miles you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike and continue on Route 18 North. Proceed along Route 18 North past exit for "Route 27" and take the exit marked "George Street-Rutgers University" (approximately 2.6 miles from Turnpike). Proceed east on River Road toward Highland Park until you reach the fifth traffic light (approximately 3.4 miles) at the intersection of River Road, Metlars Lane and Route 18. Turn right onto Route 18 and cross the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge. Stay in the right lane and take the first exit which is marked "George Street - Rutgers University, New Brunswick, Route 27." At the traffic light at the top of the exit ramp turn right onto Huntington Street, then turn left at the first traffic light onto College Avenue. Proceed approximately three blocks, and the Rutgers Student Center is on your right.

Driving Direction:

From Route 1 North: Use the ‘Fords’ exit for County Highway Route 514 East (first exit after bridge). On Route 514 East (Woodbridge Avenue), proceed approximately two miles and turn right at 4th traffic light onto Mill Road. At the 1st traffic light turn left onto College Drive East: Follow sign for College Center.

Route 1 South: Take ‘Bonhamtown’ exit for County Highway Route 531 South. Proceed to traffic light, turn right. Proceed to 3rd traffic light and turn left onto Mill road. At the 1st traffic light turn left onto College Drive East: Follow sign for College Center.

Garden State Parkway North: Use exit 127 and follow signs for I-287 North. Proceed for approximately half mile on 287 (stay on right lane), take the County Highway Route 514 West onto Woodbridge Avenue. Proceed approximately 2.5 miles to the 6th traffic light and turn left onto Mill Road. At the 1st traffic light turn left onto College Drive East: Follow sign for College Center.

Garden State Parkway South: Take exit 130 to Route 1 South. Follow directions for Route 1 South (no. 2).

NJTPK North and South: Take exit 10. Follow signs for Highland Park. These signs provide a direct route to Woodbridge Avenue (also County Highway Route 514). Follow Wodbridge Avenue to 6th traffic light and turn left onto Mill Road. At the 1st traffic light, turn left onto College Drive East: Follow sign for College Center.

I-287 Northbound: Exit at County Highway Route 514 West (Woodbridge Avenue) and follow directions from no. 3 (above).

I-287 Southbound: Exit at 1-B onto County Highway Route 531 and follow directions from no. 2 (above).

State Highway 35 North or South (Woodbridge township): From State Highway 35 North. Turn left or from South turn right onto Main Street, which becomes Woodbridge Avenue in Edison. Proceed to the 11th traffic light and turn left onto Mill Road. At the 1st traffic light turn left onto College Drive East: Follow sign for College Center.

Paterson: Take Garden State Parkway South. Take exit 130 to Route 1 South. Follow direction from no. 2 (above).
